History of Innovation
The convenience of living enrich the lives
Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement began
to make new goals in 2013, the 10th anniversary of incorporation.
We shall make even greater progresses in order to achieve further
growth and advancement of land and transportation R&D.

    SeptemberThe Smart City Business Fair was held

    MayThe Smart City Initiative was declared
    The 2017 Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Technology Fair was held

  2. 2016

    DecemberKAIA was designated as an institution for assessing the value of technologies in the fields of construction and transportation
    It was designated as a family-friendly certification institution

    JuneThe Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Science and Technology Development Act (which provides the legal basis for the agency) was enforced
    The first KAIA Academy was held

    MayThe 2016 Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Technology Fair was held

    DecemberThe first issue of KAIA Insight was published

    SeptemberKAIA was selected as 2015's top-ranking institution in human resources development

    JuneThe 2015 Land, Infrastructure and Transport Technology Fair was held

    AprilThe Global Desalination Research Center was launched

    OctoberThe Korea institute of Construction and Transportation technology Evaluation
    and Planning was established as a legislated organization based on the article
    11 in 'The Construction Technology Promotion Act'

    JanuaryDesignated as a specialized institute for national transportation technology R&D

  10. 2003

    MayDesignated as a specialized institute for national construction technology R&D

    FebruaryDesignated as a specialized institute for evaluation of new construction technologies

  11. 2002

    DecemberThe Korea Institute of Construction and Transportation technology Evaluation
