○ Vietnam is currently recording high economic growth rates in Southeast Asia, with rapid investments from overseas institutions such as Japan, Singapore, and Europe.
     In line with Vietnam's growth, there is increasing interest from the Vietnamese authorities and a growing social atmosphere aimed at constructing smart cities. Recently, South Korea has also demonstrated swift actions, such as the commencement of the Korea-Vietnam Smart City Construction Technology Cooperation Center (October 2022). This suggests that future smart city construction projects in Vietnam will likely be vigorous and active.
     In this context, the task involves collaborating with domestic construction companies operating in Vietnam to provide the technology of smart construction safety equipment, certified with innovative technology in Korea. By leveraging this technology, domestic construction firms can secure a competitive edge in safety management and enhance their international competitiveness, while also spreading the global success of Korean smart safety technology.
     Additionally, the task includes various collaborations with local enterprises and institutions in Vietnam, including Vietnamese overseas institutions, universities, and construction companies. As part of this effort, local pilot tests and practical experiments will be conducted to analyze and verify the applicability and optimization of the technology. By establishing the excellence and effectiveness of Korean technology, this initiative aims to expand and promote smart safety technology in line with the booming smart city construction trend in Vietnam, thus carrying out international cooperative research with Vietnam.
